Thank you so much, May.
It was an enjoyable and insightful class as always, based on the material 'Is AI Making People Retire Early?' that you kindly selected for me on 19 April 2026.
I partially agree with the idea that AI might bring the retirement age forward from 60 in Japan.
However, I expect that the number of people losing their jobs won't increase at a rapid pace.
Employees in Japan have strong protections to retain their jobs because vested interests hold great power in Japanese society.
Meanwhile, it was reported that some famous Japanese companies have adopted job-based employment rather than conventional membership-based employment.
This fact implies that new graduates who possess specific skills are more easily hired than liberal arts majors.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to taking your next class.

Thank you so much, May.
It was an enjoyable and insightful class as always, based on the material "572,000 to Travel Abroad for Japan's 'Golden Week'" that you kindly selected for me on 15 April 2026.
I was a little bit surprised to find that so many Japanese people will travel during Golden Week despite inflation and the fuel crisis.
I believe the survey results are accurate, because, in fact, one of my colleagues is going to travel abroad to an Asian country.
This really made me feel that the wealth gap has been widening, even in Japan.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to taking your next class.

Thank you so much, May.
It was an enjoyable and insightful class as always, based on the material 'Global Survey Finds Japan in Sleep Crisis' that you kindly selected for me on 13 April 2026.
Our company invited an expert to conduct a training session on the latest sleep research.
According to the findings, humans require at least 5 hours of sleep a day.
However, employees in traditional Japanese companies still tend to regard a lack of sleep as a virtue.
I recommend that the Japanese government do more to promote the importance of adequate sleep to the public as public awareness campaign.
We should be aware that sleep deprivation is not a badge of honor.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to taking your next class.

Thank you so much, May.
It was an enjoyable and insightful class as always, based on the material 'How to Help Remote Workers Feel Connected' that you kindly selected for me on 9 April 2026.
As I mentioned in the lesson, I recommend that managers arrange 1on1 meetings to maintain connections.
The topic of the meeting should be trivial things, as work-related topics may put pressure on the participant.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to taking your next class.

Thank you so much, May.
It was an enjoyable and insightful class as always, based on the material 'Survey Shows Type of Country Japanese People Want' that you kindly selected for me on 4 April 2026.
I was a little bit surprised to read the survey results about what Japanese people want.
However, I cannot completely agree with the findings.
For instance, 21% of the respondents answered that they want Japan to be a country with top universities, but I disagree with this idea.
Increasing the number of top universities does not necessarily improve our daily lives in Japan.
This is because most private universities are not institutions that provide rigorous academic knowledge, but are rather just job-hunting prep schools.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to taking your next class.

Thank you so much, May.
It was an enjoyable and insightful class as always, based on the material 'Japan's Vending Machine Culture Hits Hard Times' that you kindly selected for me on 18 March 2026.
As this article mentioned, there are tons of vending machines in Japan.
In the Tokyo metropolitan area, you can see them every 50 to 100 meters.
However, I seldom purchase any beverages from vending machines due to the high prices, except for the ones in our office.
The drinks in our office vending machines are less expensive than those outside, because our company provides some sort of subsidy.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to taking your next class.

Thank you so much, May.
It was an enjoyable and insightful class as always, based on the material 'Six in 10 Japanese Visit Hyakkin Shops Monthly' that you kindly selected for me on 14 March 2026.
Today, there are many products in online shopping malls, but they are more expensive than those in 100-yen shops.
Based on my experience, the quality of products in online shops is not as good as I had expected.
For that reason, I prefer shopping at 100-yen shops to buying things online.
I have also been concerned about rising prices at Japanese 100-yen shops due to recent inflation.
Currently, there is a very low probability of inflation subsiding, given the ongoing geopolitical conflicts worldwide.
I'm happy to support 100-yen shops by purchasing items there frequently.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to taking your next class.

Thank you so much, May.
It was an enjoyable and insightful class as always, based on the material 'Garbage Tops List of Japan's Hidden Moving Costs' that you kindly selected for me on 11 March 2026.
Having relocated multiple times, I fully understand how costly moving can be.
Fortunately, there are several ways to minimize these expenses.
First, it is advisable to avoid peak moving seasons like March and December.
Additionally, you should utilize municipal services to dispose of unwanted items affordably.
Finally, packing your belongings yourself can significantly contribute to reducing overall costs.
Given the current economic climate, applying these strategies is highly recommended.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to taking your next class.
