Thank you so much, Fretche.
It was an enjoyable and insightful class as always, based on the material '953 Foreign Business Owners Have Left Japan in 2026' that you kindly selected for me on 14 Sep. 2026.
The current law has been tightened, a change widely welcomed by the Japanese public, because the previous regulations were too weak to control malicious foreign visitors.
It remains unclear why the government delayed amending the law, but I assume there was some sort of underlying pressure to maintain the status quo.
Over the past few months, the current cabinet's approval rating has been increasing.
This rise is likely due not only to their decisiveness but also to the widespread support for the policy itself.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to taking your next class. |

Thank you so much, Fretche.
It was an enjoyable and insightful class as always, based on the material 'Breaking News English Lesson: AI Music' that you kindly selected for me on 6 September 2026.
As I mentioned in the lesson, I agree with ARIA's organization that songs that are entirely created by AI should not be listed.
Meanwhile, I am for the advancement of AI technology.
For this reason, I suggest that the ARIA establishes a new rule defining the ratio of music and AI.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to taking your next class. |

Thank you so much, Fretche.
It was an enjoyable and insightful class as always, based on the material 'Solar-Powered Boat Stops Plastic Reaching the Sea’ that you kindly selected for me on 21 June 2026.
It was not until I read the article that I became aware of the Great Pacific Garbage Patch, which is a massive collection of plastic waste floating in the sea.
I saw a horrible photo of the patch, and it must be a major obstruction for ships and boats.
Meanwhile, the organization 'The Ocean Cleanup' has done a great job.
They have not only deployed a boat that gathers tons of garbage, but they have also addressed the root cause of the patch.
The boat is amazing because it is unmanned and has a function to notify staff when it is full.
I expect these boats will become prevalent in many regions suffering from pollution.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to taking your next class. |

Thank you so much, Fretche.
It was an enjoyable and insightful class as always, based on the material 'Remote Work, Not AI, May Be Driving Unemployment’ that you kindly selected for me on 14 June 2026.
About 10 years ago, there were predictions about what kind of jobs AI technology would replace, such as cab drivers, customer service representatives, and data entry operators. However, it turned out that these predictions were wrong, because most of these jobs still exist even now.
Meanwhile, the COVID-19 pandemic popularized remote working, which has become a common work style in contemporary society. This work style has advantages for employees, but it also has disadvantages, such as a worsening unemployment rate.
However, as the frequency of remote work has been decreasing, employment has been recovering gradually.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to taking your next class.

Thank you so much, Fretche.
It was an enjoyable and insightful class as always, based on the material '98% of Japan's Graduates Find Jobs | Engoo Daily News' that you kindly selected for me on 7 June 2026.
There are many exploitative companies in Japan, often referred to as 'Evil companies'.
Unfortunately, small and medium-sized companies are more likely to be exploitative than large companies.
Therefore, avoiding these exploitative companies is often equivalent to choosing a large company.
However, there are many competitors who want to work for them.
In addition, large companies tend to offer higher salaries and superior fringe benefits compared to exploitative ones.
For these reasons, many graduates won't be relieved just to see the 98% employment rate.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to taking your next class. |

Thank you so much, Fretche.
It was an enjoyable and insightful class as always, based on the material 'Japan's population falls three million in five years' that you kindly selected for me on 5 June 2026.
These problems have remained unsolved for many years, even though the Japanese government has provided financial aid to its citizens, especially child-rearing households.
However, I believe that it is virtually impossible to resolve the issue now, and that it is already too late.
Some young Japanese women have pointed out that one of the major reasons for the low birth rate is young Japanese men's physical appearance.
Most young women of marriageable age are highly conscious of their potential partner's looks, including their facial features and body shape.
For instance, they want their partners to be neither overweight nor short.
I recommend that the Japanese government promote the idea that a man's value lies in his character rather than his appearance, through dramas, movies, and other forms of entertainment.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to taking your next class. |
