It was an enjoyable and insightful class as always, based on the material 'Investing Confidence Gap Persists Among UK Adults' that you kindly selected for me on 3 June 2026.
As I mentioned in the lesson, it is essential to teach students about investing, rather than just its advantages and disadvantages.
I believe that investing large amounts of money can be regarded as 'high risk, high return' in terms of finance.
For this reason, students have to deeply understand the concept of leverage in investing.
Meanwhile, our salaries have remained stagnant, contrary to what many people believed in the past.
I admit that investing, such as in the stock market, is one of the most effective ways to survive in the contemporary world.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to taking your next class.

Thank you so much, Sarah.
It was an enjoyable and insightful class as always, based on the material 'Beyond Graduation: The Real Changes of Adulthood' that you kindly selected for me on 2 June 2026.
Based on my experience, it is essential to continue learning even after graduating from university.
However, most children in contemporary Japanese society tend to believe that entering a first-rate university is the surest and fastest way to succeed in life. Cram schools in Japan use deviation scores to define university rankings.
In fact, it is easy for students from such first-rate universities to get jobs at traditional Japanese companies, where salaries are relatively high and the fringe benefits are quite good.
To make matters worse, most Japanese universities do not require their students to write a graduation thesis. Consequently, it is easy for university students to graduate, and they expect that no further effort is required after graduation.
Unfortunately, these complacent adults have been damaging both the Japanese economy and society.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to taking your next class.

Thank you so much, Sarah.
It was an enjoyable and insightful class as always, SYNONYMS and based on the material 'Alone in the Age of Connection: The Growing Loneliness Crisis' that you kindly selected for me on 1 June 2026.
In the past, the term 'digital divide' was widely used to describe the capability gap between people who were familiar with digital services and those who were not.
Nowadays, ironically, digital services can cause people who are constantly connected online to become isolated from one another.
I would like to call this phenomenon 'digital isolation.' An effective way to resolve this issue is to go on a digital detox, such as putting your smartphone in a lockbox.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to taking your next class.

Thank you so much, Sarah.
It was an enjoyable and insightful class as always, paraphraseing sentences and based on the material 'The Power of “No”: Setting Boundaries Without Guilt' that you kindly selected for me on 26 May 2026.
Most Japanese people, especially the older generation, are more likely to hesitate to say 'No' when declining requests compared to young people.
Meanwhile, young people have learned the importance of saying 'No' prior to finding their jobs.
This is because the courage to say 'No' is one of the most crucial skills to avoid falling victim to exploitative companies.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to taking your next class.

Thank you so much, Sarah.
It was an enjoyable and insightful class as always, paraphraseing sentences and based on the material 'AI Helps Students Score Higher but Raises Concerns About Real Learning' that you kindly selected for me on 25 May 2026.
I believe there is a high possibility that AI could negatively impact students' academic performance.
However, most students, especially in private universities, are less likely to study hard compared to high school students because it is relatively easy to graduate.
In addition, a graduation thesis is not mandatory at most universities.
Ironically, this means that the academic performance of these college students wouldn't improve much even without AI, except for those majoring in science.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to taking your next class.

Thank you so much, Sarah.
It was an enjoyable and insightful class as always, completing sentences with my own ideas and based on the material 'Small Luxuries Add to Growing Financial Stress' that you kindly selected for me on 24 May 2026.
I recommend that people live within their means because hedonic adaptation is inevitable.
Some individuals, such as celebrities, tend to live a life of luxury.
However, if they lose their status, they often immediately fall into debt because hedonic adaptation makes it extremely difficult for them to lower their standard of living.
Of course, it is easier for ordinary people to downgrade their lifestyle than it is for the wealthy, but we should still avoid excessive luxuries for this very reason.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to taking your next class.

Thank you so much, Sarah.
It was an enjoyable and insightful class as always, exercises on idioms and phrasal verbs, based on the material 'Anthropic Explains Why Claude Showed “Self-Preservation” Behavior' that you kindly selected for me on 20 May 2026.
"It was an interesting topic, reminiscent of a science fiction film about AI's threat to humanity.
In reality, AI relies entirely on accumulated information, known as 'big data'.
Because of this, it is difficult for AI to truly invent or create something new from scratch.
Therefore, I do not expect AI to become a real threat to humans."
Anyway, I'm looking forward to taking your next class.

Thank you so much, Sarah.
It was an enjoyable and insightful class as always, based on the material "Alone but Not Lonely: Study Links Solitude to Intelligence" that you kindly selected for me on 19 May 2026.
It is natural that highly intelligent people tend to prefer solitude over being surrounded by many people, because they think differently from others.
Meanwhile, enjoying time alone has become widely accepted among Japanese people today, as exemplified by solo Yakiniku, solo Ramen, and solo Karaoke. In the past, most people in Japan hesitated to spend time alone.
However, in modern Japanese society, solitude is rapidly becoming universally accepted.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to taking your next class.

Thank you so much, Sarah.
It was an enjoyable and insightful class as always, based on the material 'Politics Divides More American Relationships' that you kindly selected for me on 17 May 2026.
Today, the number of Japanese people who are interested in policies, politicians, and politics is increasing because voter turnout in recent elections has also been increasing.
Meanwhile, most Japanese people are more indifferent to politics than people in other countries.
Therefore, political topics do not always damage relationships, such as friendships, family ties, and romantic relationships.
However, most Japanese people recognize that politics, religion, and specific sports teams should not be topics of daily conversation.
In addition, one's educational background is becoming a sensitive topic among Japanese people because attaining a higher education unfairly depends on a household's financial condition—in other words, the 'parent lottery'.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to taking your next class.
