It was an enjoyable and insightful class as always, based on the material 'Young People Say Retirement Saving Feels Pointless Amid Rising Costs' that you kindly selected for me on 5 April 2026.
As I mentioned in the lesson, quite a few people prioritize saving for their retirement in Japan.
It is obvious that a certain amount of assets is required after reaching retirement age, especially since the Japanese government officially announced that at least 20 million yen per person is needed.
In addition, there is a possibility that the pension eligibility age will be raised.
For these reasons, many Japanese citizens are highly conscious of saving money for their future.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to taking your next class.

The sound quality is better than other teachers. Their voices are easier to hear. There's less background noise. The tempo is good.

Thank you so much, Sarah.
It was an enjoyable and insightful class as always, based on the material 'Income Gaps Put Pressure on Long-Term Friendships' that you kindly selected for me on 29 March 2026.
As I mentioned in the lesson, I’ve been regularly meeting up for drinks with my old friends ever since our university days.
We usually split the bill because our salaries and social statuses are similar to each other, so it doesn't cause any friction.
However, I recommend paying equally, because if you pay more for them, your generosity might not be appreciated if they are broke.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to taking your next class.

Thank you as always. I've instructed Saki to speak rather than type.

Yuki tends to speak Japanese without thinking too much, just winging it.

Saki is equally shy when speaking Japanese. Even her Japanese teachers have a hard time with her.

Thank you so much, Sarah.
It was an enjoyable and insightful class as always, based on the material 'One in Three Afraid to Travel Solo, Survey Finds' that you kindly selected for me on 22 March 2026.
The term 'Window Workers' is commonly used in Japan to describe older, incompetent employees without any managerial title.
Recently, the use of this term has been declining because it is derogatory and may lead to bullying in the office.
Meanwhile, it is hard to reduce their salaries due to the seniority system, which is a conventional practice in traditional Japanese companies.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to taking your next class.
