自 己 紹 介 A wonderful day dear students!

My name is Teacher Tobey. ^_^
Nice to meet you here!
I am what's called a Japanophile.
It means I love Japanese culture and its people! <3 <3 <3

At my university, I took up International Studies because I love learning about geography, world cultures, peoples and especially, their languages.

My TOEIC score is 955/990.

I have taught English for more than two
years now, from kids to adults and to the elderly. And I must say, the Japanese personality is very endearing to me. I'm so delighted to have met and befriended many Nihonjin because it has been my childhood dream to have many Japanese friends. This is why I'm also studying Nihonggo.

My dream in the future is to become a successful Anison and J-Pop singer and also a mangaka! In my free time, I rehearse a lot of English and Japanese songs. I also write and develop my own stories and characters so that in the future, I can get published in Shonen Jump Magazine! :-O

My style in teaching English is very cheerful, energetic and omoshiroii!
And if you have difficulty in speaking, that's alright, because I can speak a little Japanese. I can guide you to learning English the easy and fun way, so "Hazukashii garanaide ne?" ^_^

I am looking forward to meet you soon!
Yoroshiku onegaishimasu! :-D

Thank you so much, Tobey.
It was an enjoyable, tactful class, as always, from the material based on the article '7 signs of micromanagement' that you kindly selected on March 25 2024.
I have learned the following four ways to deal with micromanagers from the article.
1. Try to understand
2. Have an honest conversation
3. Try and get ahead
4. Escalating the issue
I believe that they will be quite effective to deal with them.
However, they are not effective to heinous supervisors based on my experience.
In the past, I did the four ways to deal with supervisors, but unfortunately all of them were in vain.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to continuing the same article at your next class.

As I mentioned in the lesson, one of my ex-bosses in my previous company was evil, because he never approved any documents that had even minor mistakes, like typos. For instance, I asked him to get approval of my output document, but the document unfortunately had minor mistakes, he completely stopped the confirming the document.
This incident is just like the "1. Not seeing the wood for the trees".
Anyway, I'm looking forward to continuing the same article at your next class.

Thank you so much, Tobey.
I looked for data on what month fire accidents occur the most in a year in Japan.
According to the statistics data, March is the worst month of a fire incident.Sorry, I said the wrong information.
This is because the air gets dry and the wind get strongest in March. In addition, March is still cold and many people use heaters.
Anyway, I look forward to continuing the "7 signs you're dealing with a micromanager (and how to deal with them)" in your next class.

Thank you so much, Tobey.
It was a pleasant, tactful class as usual from the material based on the article '7 signs you're dealing with a micromanager (and how to manage them)' you kindly chose on 13rd March 2024.
The part of the article at this lesson explained what makes you a micromanager.
I agree with the opinion that an employee who had great achievements in the past are willing to get accolade again as a manager. The behavior makes him/her to become a micromanager.
However, the ability to manage and control other colleagues and having expertise, insight and effort are completely different. You should realize the fact to prevent from being a micromanager.
Let us continue this article at the next class.

Thank you so much, Tobey.
It was a pleasant, tactful class as usual from the material based on the article '7 signs you're dealing with a micromanager (and how to manage them)' you kindly chose on 12nd March 2024.
As remote working has become common lately, there are some micromanagers who bother their subordinates.
For that reason, it seems that the headline is quite practical.
Let us continue this article at the next class.
