自 己 紹 介 Hello! Have a pleasant day, everyone! ! This is Ms. CHERRY PIE CAPADNGAN,
and you can call me teacher PIE. I graduated at Cebu Normal University and earned a degree of Bachelor of Science in Biology. Aside from teaching, I love cooking, singing, and socializing with people. I also love sports specifically, volleyball because this is the best way of maintaining a healthy body. I am very much excited and ready to share my knowledge, capabilities and skills with you guys. I assure that you can learn a lot from me. See you in my class.

こんにちは！Cherry Pie Capadnganです。Pie先生と呼んでください。CebuNormal Universityで生物科学を学びました。教育の他に料理、歌、人々との交流が大好きです。スポーツも好きで特にバレーボールが好きです。健康な身体を維持するのに最高です。あなたと知識、能力、スキルを共有できることを楽しみにしています。私から多くのことを学び、私もあなたから多くのことを学ぶでしょう。

（ご両親が共に教育者の家庭に育ちましたが、フィリピンで人気のスポーツ、バレーボールの選手として大学まで活躍しました。学業も優秀で奨学金生徒であり、地域の子供たちのために指導的なボランティアを行ったりと幅広く活躍しています。とても明るく優しく朗らかな感じです。笑顔と大きな笑い声にファンが多いようです。）

It was an enjoyable, tactful class, as always, from the material based on the article "Canada's Quest for Cheaper Groceries" that you kindly selected on June 27 2024.
As I mentioned in the lesson, the price of some vegetables are fracuating whenever I go to groceries in Japan these days.
I guess that the biggest difference between Canada and Japan is that one particular company, Loblaws dominates the Canadian market. So, they can continue to be profitable.
Meanwhile, there are large retailers in Japan, such as AEON, IY, OK, etc., and they compete with each other. The competition brings benefits to consumers, even though there are some problems.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to taking your next class.

I haven't heard the Silent Cafe until I read this article, but I agree with the concept of the Silent Cafe.
This is because spending time in a quiet environment can relieve stress out.
Meanwhile, the quality of the food and coffee that are served in the cafe is crucial, because the customers are likely to focus on and evaluate the taste of them, because there is no any noise.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to taking your next class.

It was an enjoyable, tactful class, as always, from the material based on the article "The World's First Convenience Store: The Story of 7-Eleven" that you kindly selected on June 21 2024.
As I mentioned in the lesson, the following notorious strategy makes 7-11 so popular globally.
1) Dominant shop opening scheme
7-11 stores open in a certain area. e.g. a new 7-11 opened just 100-200 meters across a street from each other 7-11.
2) Exploitative franchise system
7-11 owners are likely to owe debts under the franchise system with not only the royalty, but additional expenses. e.g., unsold lunch boxes must be disposed of by the owner at their expense.

As I mentioned in the lesson, I joined in on a drinking session last night and it was a lot of fun.
It had been a few years since I'd enjoyed a drinking part except for a farewell party.
The taste of the served dishes were not so bad, I noticed that the portions of the dishes were low due to inflation.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to taking your next class.

I haven't heard that Indonesia is the most generous country in the world until I read this article.
If I have a chance, I'd like to visit Indonesia for a trip.
However, I would not like to live in other countries after my retirement, even if those countries are generous to others.
This is because Japan offers advanced medical cure with low medical fee.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to taking your next class.

It was an enjoyable, tactful class, as always, from the material based on the article "Tent? Check. Planning Your First Camping Trip" that you kindly selected on June 13 2024.
As I said in the lesson, I prefer staying in a camping van to staying in a tent, because wild bear attacks are getting serious in Japan these days.
The upper class camping van has an air conditioner and a toilet. Of course it has a bed and a kitchen.
One of my ex-colleagues has a camping van, and he spends a night in it.
After I retire, I'd like to buy a camping van and take advantage of it.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to taking your next class.
