Thank you so much, Pie.
It was an enjoyable, tactful class, as always, from the the material based on the article "28% of Foreign Workers in Japan Quit Within First Year" that you kindly selected on 31 March 2025.
As I mentioned in the lesson, the turnover rate of IT engineers must be higher than 28% based on my experience as an IT engineer in the past.
Generally speaking, IT engieers in Japan are likely to be exploited by IT companies.
Consequently, the foreing workers in IT indstry cannot obtain any skills without high salaries., because their task is tidious such as pressing the button 100,000 times and taking screen shots.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to taking your next class. |

Thank you so much, Pie.
It was an enjoyable, tactful class, as always, from the the material based on the article "Students Use AI for Homework, Schools Struggle to Stop It" that you kindly selected on 28 March 2025.
I disagree with the idea of using AI for school students, especially university/college students.
In general, academic performance of high school students in the 3rd grade is the apex in Japan, because university students are less likely to study hard.
To make matters worse, AI technology deteriorates the performance worse.
I was very disappointed to hear that a student at a famous private university was attending three lectures online at the same time.
Thus, the advancement of technology jeopardize the level of education.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to taking your next class. |

Thank you so much, Pie.
It was an enjoyable, tactful class, as always, from the the material based on the article "What Gen Z Calls Harassment May Shock Older Generations" that you kindly selected on 27 March 2025.
As I mentioned in the lesson, there is a big gap between Gen.Z and eldery people in terms of business in Japan.
There is a proverb, "A customer is a god," which shows that employees must respect and follow customers.
So, elderly people are likely to believe in the proverb.
Meanwhile, younger generations are less likely to follow it due to the recent trend of protection from customer harassment.
The survey result that Kansai residents are toreleant to customer harassment, that makes sense.
In general, Kansai region in Japan, such as Osaka are historically, merchant town in Japan.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to taking your next class. |

Thank you so much, Pie.
It was an enjoyable, tactful class, as always, from the the material based on the article "Influencers vs. Reporters: The Changing Media Landscape" that you kindly selected on 26 March 2025.
This article reminds me of a bizarre news that happened in the past.
A Japanese influencer "Ikehaya" was selling dietary supplements online, but many experts, such as a lawyer, a pharmacist, pointed out that this behavior must be illegal.
Under the current Japanese law, anyone can sell dietary supplements unless they are for medical purposes because the law is not strict.
However, the influencer stated that the supplement had anti-aging effects. Of course, he takes no responsibility for the result.
I suggest that the current law should be amended to be stricter on dietary supplements.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to taking your next class. |

Thank you so much, Pie.
It was an enjoyable, tactful class, as always, from the the material based on the article "Osaka Expo's 150M Yen Toilets: Smart Design or Waste?" that you kindly selected on 24 March 2025.
Before reading the article, I thought that the Osaka Expo toilets could be reused in other ways.
After reading it, it turned out that my guess was right.
There are many high-tech bidet seats/toilets in Japan. The prices are expensive, but very comfortable. This is because these toilets will not be disposed of after the Expo is over.
I guess the critics know this fact, but they just want to appeal to it as a story.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to taking your next class. |
