Konichiwa! I am most honored to have you in my class!
I know, I do have a foreign sounding name. Most of my friends and foreign friends call me Melai, a full-time ESL teacher, and a part-time travel, culture, and lifestyle writer, also a freelance photographer.
I have been teaching in iTalk for 9 years straight. I am enjoying my current work set-up since I can teach from the comfort of my room while I travel different countries in Southeast Asia. However, when I am not traveling, you can catch me at the office.
Book my class and have an enjoyable learning experience with me.
I teach you from my house. I'm sorry I can't use some texts. If you like to use the specific text ,Please send me or iTalk support Tokyo during the day time.
自宅からのレッスンとなりますため一部テキストが使用できません。生徒様のお持ちのテキストを使い受講したい場合はスカイプで事前に送っていただきますと受講できます。Tokyo office へはまとめて送っていただくことも可能です。
Thank you so much, Fraxie.
It was an enjoyable, tactful class, as always, from the material based on the article 'Japan's elderly population living alone to jump 47% by 2050' that you kindly selected on April 15 2024.
As I mentioned in the lesson, most of Japanese people are reluctant to live with parents-in-law for the following reasons.
1) Japanese people don't like to be interfered by parents-in-law, especially their children's education.
2) Japanese people would feel stress, because they are likely to be too considerate of parents-in-law.
A husband or a wife will loss his/her partner sooner or later.
Therefore, the number of elderly population living alone in Japan is expected to skyrocket in the future.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to taking your next class.

Thank you so much, Fraxie.
It was an enjoyable, tactful class, as always, from the material based on the article 'UN warns of environmental e-waste catastrophe' that you kindly selected on April 7 2024.
Nowadays, there are lots of EVs, electric vehicles, in the world. It is often said that an EV is more envilronmentaly-friendly than a conventional petrol vechile. However, many poeple are not aware how the batteries of EVs are disposed. As I looked for the answer, most of the discarded batteries are re-used, but some of them don't get re-cycled. The batteies are hard to be disassemble, and it's difficult to extract rare metals from them.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to taking your next class.

Thank you so much, Fraxie.
It was an enjoyable, tactful class, as always, from the material based on the article 'Cashless payments in Japan - statistics & facts' that you kindly selected on March 20 2024.
As I said in the lesson, I sometimes use Cashless payments, but I mainly use a Credit card for the following reasons.
1) The rebate/cashback of a credit card is greater than cashless payments so far.
2) The number of stores where customers can use a Credit card is greater than that of Cashless payments.
In addition, Cashless payments generally cannot be used with real cash, a credit card and other cashless payments.
If the deposit of Cashless payment is not enough to make the purchase, customers must use other payment method.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to taking your next class.
