自 己 紹 介 Hi everyone! I'm Teacher Joycie. I'm a licensed teacher with a major in English. I've taught in 3 different private schools for 5 years. And now, I am a full pledged Public Junior High School Teacher.

I love to sing, dance, watch movies and read fairy tales.

If you want to learn more about the English language, I am very willing to teach you. I hope that you will also be willing to learn English with me.

It was an enjoyable and insightful class as always, based on the material "572,000 to Travel Abroad for Japan's 'Golden Week'" that you kindly selected for me on 17 April 2026.
I was somewhat surprised to find that a vast number of people in Japan are traveling during Golden Week, regardless of soaring inflation and the energy crisis.
Anecdotal evidence proves these survey findings; for instance, a colleague of mine is currently planning an overseas trip to Asia.
This phenomenon strongly indicates that economic disparity is steadily widening even within Japan.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to taking your next class.

It was an enjoyable class from the material based on the "AI Tools Often Give Wrong Citations, Study Says" that you kindly selected on 9 Dec. 2025.
It is often said that Japanese university students are less likely to study, except for students who major in science courses.
To make matters worse, AI tools deteriorate the academic performance of university students.
This is because the results of AI tools may include fake information or wrong data.
Some AI tools require payment, while others are free. I expect the paid tools have more accurate information.
However, I would not recommend that students should not use even paid AI tools for the above reason.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to taking your next class.

It was an enjoyable, tactful class, as always, from the material based on the article "Chinese Winter Swimmers Dive into Freezing River" that you kindly selected on 28 Jan. 2025.
As I mentioned in the lesson, there are similar events in some rural towns and cities in Japan.
In the events, some people dive into the sea or river or pool in winter.
These events are to show their high spirits and vitality or to get tolerance to flu and cold.
However, I have the same opinion that the event is ridiculous and harmful to our health for medical reasons.
Of course, the activity has not been scientifically proven.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to taking your next class.
