Hello! My name is teacher Christy. Teaching
has provided me with so much joy and
excitement. I can't wait to see you in my class.Let's have fun learning together.
Thank you so much, Christy.
It was an enjoyable, tactful class, as always, from the the material based on the article "Half of US Parents Financially Support Adult Children" that you kindly selected on 13 April 2025.
I forgot to tell you that this article reminded me of the word to describe the adult children in Japan.
It is "Parasite Single" which has a negative impact because Japanese have thought that son and daughter should leave their parents home before they reach 30 years.
When I worked in my previous company in Tokyo, there were more single colleagues living with their parents even after 40 years.
They probably lost opportunities to find future wives because they worked very hard.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to taking your next class.

Thank you so much, Christy.
It was an enjoyable, tactful class, as always, from the the material based on the article "Audio enclaves" that you kindly selected on 10 April 2025.
As far as I know, the sound goes straight as well as light beam, so it could not be bent without special equipment to reflect it.
For this reason, I suspected the audio enclave technology.
However, I would not say my privacy and private things even if this new technology is realized.
Meanwhile, as I mentioned in the lesson, sound can have directionality by putting multiple speakers on a line.
The conventional technology has been used for many years, to such as passengers who are about to take a step on an escalator in train stations, airports, department stores, etc.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to taking your next class.

Thank you so much, Christy.
It was an enjoyable, tactful class, as always, from the the material based on the article "Athlete spends 500 days in underground caves" that you kindly selected on 4 April 2025.
The article I read in the past said that a human cannot endure for a few weeks under being isolated environment; The examinee was about to go mad during the experiment.
Therefore, I was surprised to read this article proves the athlete spent 500 days in underground cave.
The reason must be not her physical but well trained mental. So, ordinary people cannot archive it.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to taking your next class.

Thank you so much, Christy.
It was an enjoyable, tactful class, as always, from the the material based on the article "EU Asks People to Gather Supplies in Case of Crisis" that you kindly selected on 29 March 2025.
As I mentioned in the lesson, not only EU countries but other countries are facing many problems.
Japan also has problems such as low birth rate, aging society, rising taxes, inflation, labor shortage, territorial disputes, and so on.
However, it seems that most Japanese are indifferent to these problems.
For example, one of my acquaintances was interested in the divorce of a minor Japanese actress, but Trump's election victory.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to taking your next class.

Thank you so much, Christy.
It was an enjoyable, tactful class, as always, from the the material based on the article "Italian Town Bans People from Getting Sick" that you kindly selected on 21 March 2025.
It was not until I read the article that Italy has the same problem as Japan.
The number of hospitals and doctors in rural areas of Japan is decreasing.
However, the number of medical doctors does not matter because the performance as a doctor is more crucial.
A few months ago, a terrible doctor was sued for his poor medical experties and skill in surgical operation.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to taking your next class.

Thank you so much, Christy.
It was an enjoyable, tactful class, as always, from the the material based on the article "Why Japanese Students Learn Responsibility Through Cleaning" that you kindly selected on 16 March 2025.
It was not until I read the article that Hydra in Greece is a famous island for tourists.
I was a little surprised that there are no cars on the island. This is just a compact city.
The fact means that all sightseeing spots are accessible on foot or by a donkey. It's very environmentally friendly.
I don't want to live there for a long time because I wouldn't be able to get advanced medical treatment there, but I would like to visit the island in the future.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to taking your next class.

Thank you so much, Christy.
It was an enjoyable, tactful class, as always, from the the material based on the article "Record Numbers of Young Brits Living With Parents" that you kindly selected on 14 March 2025.
Living with their parents even if the age is over 30 years old can be considered shameful behavior in Japan.
They are called "parasite singles".
However, the situation is gradually changing due to economic condition in the world.
For instance, the “parasite singles” are admitted, because they can save much money.
Meanwhile, single life can bring us many skills and tips, we cannot buy the skills.
As a result, everything depends on the budget.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to taking your next class.

Thank you so much, Christy.
It was an enjoyable, tactful class, as always, from the the material based on the article "How Words Change the Way We Feel About Being Alone" that you kindly selected on 12 March 2025.
Spending time alone is a necessary behavior in life because we need to focus on something without interreare.
I suppose that this time can be regarded as "me-time" or "time alone".
However, I suppose that spending time alone is called "being alone" and "isolation" for single people who are in his/her 50's or later in Japan. Unfortunatelly, it gave us very negative impacts to them.
Thus, I agree with the idea that words of meaning "spending alone" varies depending on circumstances.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to taking your next class.

Thank you so much, Christy.
It was an enjoyable, tactful class, as always, from the the material based on the article "Why Some US Companies Encourage Napping on the Job" that you kindly selected on 8 March 2025.
Nowadays, many people understand that taking a nap is effective to improve our performance due to scientific evidence.
I forgot to tell you, there are a few companies that introduced nap system, such as pods / room today, such as BANDAI/NAMCO Holdings, Mitsubishi Estate, etc.
In general, Japanese traditional companies are stubborn, taking nap can be regarded as lazy.
So, I realized these Japanese companies are very advanced in terms of the global trend.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to taking your next class.

Thank you so much, Christy.
It was an enjoyable, tactful class, as always, from the the material based on the article "How Many Steps Should You Walk to Live Longer?" that you kindly selected on 1 March 2025.
As I mentioned in the lesson, the ideal steps for keeping fit have been defined in the past.
However, the steps are revised according to other factors, such as age, gender, and so on. That really makes sense.
I'm tied up with work, so it's not easy to do it, but I'd like to do as much light exercise as I can.
By the way, Japanese companies are good at manupilating the market with plausible stories as advertising.
In general, Japanese are likely to be influenced by media such as TV, magazines, social media and so on.
So we should be able to seek the truth and not be influenced by such media.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to taking your next class.

Thank you so much, Christy.
It was one of the most enjoyable and tactful lessons I've ever seen.
After this lesson, I felt that you have enough experience in teaching English.
You have worked in the US for 7-8 years, so this fact reflects your ability.
When it comes to "Births in Japan", there are many reasons.
The problem have remained unsolved for many years, even though the Japanese government provided financial aid to the nations, especillay child-rearing households.
However, the eligible people who should receive the most financial aid are single men with low incomes.
The statistical data shows that the lower men's salaries are, the less likely they are to get married.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to taking your next class.
