Message A wonderful day dear students!

My name is Teacher Tobey. ^_^
Nice to meet you here!
I am what's called a Japanophile.
It means I love Japanese culture and its people! <3 <3 <3

At my university, I took up International Studies because I love learning about geography, world cultures, peoples and especially, their languages.

My TOEIC score is 955/990.

I have taught English for more than two
years now, from kids to adults and to the elderly. And I must say, the Japanese personality is very endearing to me. I'm so delighted to have met and befriended many Nihonjin because it has been my childhood dream to have many Japanese friends. This is why I'm also studying Nihonggo.

My dream in the future is to become a successful Anison and J-Pop singer and also a mangaka! In my free time, I rehearse a lot of English and Japanese songs. I also write and develop my own stories and characters so that in the future, I can get published in Shonen Jump Magazine! :-O

My style in teaching English is very cheerful, energetic and omoshiroii!
And if you have difficulty in speaking, that's alright, because I can speak a little Japanese. I can guide you to learning English the easy and fun way, so "Hazukashii garanaide ne?" ^_^

I am looking forward to meet you soon!
Yoroshiku onegaishimasu! :-D

Hi Tobey!❣️I hope you're feeling better. How did the investigation go? Did they assist and understand your situation about that hacker (E)? Or did they twist the story against you and blame you instead? I experienced in my old company before, the boss blames the workers for any bad situation even if it's not our fault. What a horrible person! He blames the victim instead of helping us fix the problem. Worst type of boss!

What about your case with that hacker E? Please update us in the chat. My family is all worried for your well-being.

Thank you so much, Tobey.
It was an enjoyable, tactful class, as always, from the material based on the article 'Men sleep better than women, study finds' that you kindly selected on May 15 2024.
Here is the my current answer of the SYNONYM MATCH.
1. study = h) research
2. disorders= e) conditions
3. common = j) prevalent
4. strains = b) struggles
5. needed = g) required
6. forty winks = a) a nap
7. deprivation = d) impoverishment
8. detrimental = i) harmful
9. insufficient = c) inadequate
10. correlation =f) link
I have not known that 'conditions' has a meaning of 'disease' until I did the SYNONYM MATCH. I never forget the 2. and 7.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to taking your next class.

Tobey-sensei, my mother thinks that that co-worker who really hates you is hacking your Skype to sabotage your work and make your work life difficult. That hacker will harass you so you will feel very bad about working until you quit. Saiaku!
She has no classes, so she's free to do this crime. This harassment also happens a lot in Japan, especialy in black companies. My mother had a bad experience also the same.

You're right! E is equal evil.

Thank you so much, Tobey.

I have not realized that women's circadian cycles are about six minutes shorter than men's unitl I read this article.
I'm not sure if the difference of six minutes is crucial or not, but it's true women have a disadvantage of the value of 1 day.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to taking your next class.

Thank you so much, Tobey.
As I mentioned in the lesson, the major religions in Japan are Buddhism and Shinto.
However, Japanese people enjoy Christmas Day. Nowadays they also enjoy Halloween.
In other words, the Japanese view of religion is complex.
I was actually enrolled in a Catholic kindergarten, but I'm not a Roman Catholic.
In addtion, I have played in a short drama to describe birth of Jesus Chris while I was the kindergarten child.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to taking your next class.
