Thank you so much, Pie.
It was an enjoyable, tactful class, as always, from the material based on "Doctors Share Secrets for a Longer, Healthier Life" that you kindly selected on 17 Jan. 2026.
Deciding on a New Year's resolution is a good idea in general. I recommend that we set the resolutions as feasible goals for the same reason described in this article.
Actually, I'd like to make a resolution this year related to my physical health.
1) Walk more than 30,000 steps per week.
2) Be careful to catch a cold no more than 3 times a year.
3) Donate blood at least 3 times a year.
These objectives are achievable and would be highly beneficial in extending our longevity.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to taking your next class.

Thank you so much, Pie.
It was an enjoyable, tactful class, as always, from the material based on "Why Learning to Say 'No' at Work Matters" that you kindly selected on 16 Jan. 2026.
Most ordinary colleagues in Japan hesitate to say 'No', but I believe the ability to do so is crucial during working.
'No' is a harsh word to use when rejecting something, so it can be considered impolite in a Japanese office.
It requires the use of soft words to gently decline, and this is something you should learn through actual work experience.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to taking your next class.

Thank you so much, Pie.
It was an enjoyable, tactful class, as always, from the material based on "Want a Better Life? Try Doing Less" that you kindly selected on 15 Jan. 2026.
As I mentioned in the lesson, I take certain supplements every day that have been scientifically proven to be effective to a certain degree, such as omega-3 acids and lutein, etc.
For that reason, I would not like to do less than my usual routine.
Meanwhile, I'd like to add some additional activities, such as walking, jogging, to my routine after reaching retirement age to stay healthy for as long as possible.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to taking your next class.

Thank you so much, Pie.
It was an enjoyable, tactful class, as always, from the material based on "What Makes Some People So Competitive?" that you kindly selected on 14 Jan. 2026.
As the article pointed out, Japanese people, especially Gen Z, tend to avoid standing out too much and often prioritise harmony and peace.
However, I suppose that companies require competitive workers, because competitive people in Japan have advantages, such as being promoted faster than others and being nominated as a leader or manager, etc.
Clarifying such advantages is a good method to perusuade peoeple to be more competative.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to taking your next class.

Thank you so much, Pie.
It was an enjoyable, tactful class, as always, from the material based on "Feeling Low This Winter? These Tips Can Help" that you kindly selected on 13 Jan. 2026.
Many people in Japan are likely to feel blue in the winter mornings due to the darkness and cold temperatures.
According to the article, there are some effective tips to help you overcome the winter blues.
However, most people, including me, want to sleep even just one minute longer, so they are reluctant to excuse the methods.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to taking your next class.

Thank you so much, Pie.
It was an enjoyable, tactful class, as always, from the material based on "Why Are More Fathers Staying Home to Care for Families?" that you kindly selected on 12 Jan. 2026.
As I mentioned in the lesson, I did not have any childcare or paternity leave. If I took such leave, my salary would be reduced by 20-30%.
Only large or well-known Japanese companies can fully afford to provide such benefits to their employees. Meanwhile, middle or small sized companies cannot afford to do it even though the Japanese government encourages them to provide the leave.
As a result, economic disparities are widening in Japan as well.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to taking your next class.

Thank you so much, Pie.
It was an enjoyable, tactful class, as always, from the material based on "Japan’s 2026 Fire Horse Superstition and Gender Predictions" that you kindly selected on 10 Jan. 2026.
Despite the advances in science and technologyies many Japanese people still believe in the superstition. So, I assume that the birth rate in Japan in 2026 will be lower than in previous years due to it.
As I mentioned in the lesson, there is a unique superstition related to 'Girls day' and 'Hina dolls' in Japan. The Girls day is a festival that is celebrated every year on the 3rd day of the 3rd month.
If the dolls are not withdrawn within a certain period, one week of Girls' Day, the daughter won't marry and will have difficulty finding a husband.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to taking your next class.

Thank you so much, Pie.
It was an enjoyable, tactful class, as always, from the material based on the "Why Do Parents Feel Lonely When Children Grow Up?" that you kindly selected on 9 Jan. 2026.
I forgot to tell you about the 'Parasite Single' which has a negative impact.
Japanese people generally think that children should leave their parents' home before they reach around 30 years of age or get married.
Of course, there are some advantages to living with your parents, such as saving money.
I wonder which is better for parents, feeling lonely or having parasite singles, but I believe that children should be independent of their parents.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to taking your next class.

Thank you so much, Pie.
It was an enjoyable, tactful class, as always, from the material based on the "Over 70% of Japanese Children Have Online Friends" that you kindly selected on 7 Jan. 2026.
I would strongly advise against children making online friends that they have never met in person.
This is because there is a high probability of children being involved in crime.
Actually, it seems that my child has made some friends online through playing games.
Of course, we told them not to disclose any privacy information.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to taking your next class.
