Hello students! My name is Mariedel but you can call me Del. I love shopping, watching adventurous movies and reading inspirational stories. I also love singing and acting.
I worked in two English language school companies in the past. I taught students from Korea, China, Japan, Vietnam, and Taiwan but my heart is very close to Japanese people because most Japanese are very kind and very well-mannered.
Teaching is my passion. I love teaching because I like to impart my knowledge to students who are eager to learn English. I want to help them and share my knowledge and experiences with my students so that they, too, may achieve their dreams. I believe that my strength lies in my patience and dedication to my students.
I believe that if you have strong determination and passion for the things that you are doing, you will achieve whatever you set your mind to.
I look forward to meeting you!

Thank you so much, Del.
It was an enjoyable and insightful class as always, based on the material 'Stressed at Work? Try Stepping Outside!' that you kindly selected for me on 11 April 2026.
I have come to realize that stepping outside during work hours is a good way to improve my performance.
However, I hesitate to do so because I want to complete today's tasks as soon as possible.
In addition, I'm a bit concerned that my colleagues might perceive me as a lazy worker.
For this reason, I really hope our company makes it very clear that this practice is acceptable for all employees.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to taking your next class.

Thank you so much, Del.
It was an enjoyable and insightful class as always, based on the material 'Hero boy swims for four hours to save his family' that you kindly selected for me on 28 March 2026.
I have heard that children's swimming ability varies from country to country.
For instance, some primary school students in Japan attend swimming schools regularly.
In addition, students have swimming lessons as part of their PE classes in the summer.
It was quite a miracle that the boy was proficient enough to swim for four hours.
I thought that children in Australia tend to learn how to swim from a very young age.
While achieving a high proficiency in swimming is a key way to mitigate risks, implementing risk reduction measures, such as preparing safety equipment and conducting emergency drills, is equally vital.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to taking your next class.

Thank you so much, Del.
It was an enjoyable and insightful class as always, based on the material 'The Problems with Too Many Meetings' that you kindly selected for me on 22 Feb. 2026.
As I mentioned in the lesson, I always take time-efficient measures to avoid spending too much time in meetings.
For instance, when I facilitate a streamlined session, I never let it run for more than an hour.
I always make sure to understand the agenda and the purpose of the meeting.
Furthermore, I review all necessary documents beforehand.
For those reasons, I'm confident that the participants are not wasting their precious time in meetings.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to taking your next class.

Thank you so much, Del.
It was an enjoyable and insightful class as always, based on the material 'One Job Isn't Enough - The Rise of Polyworking that you kindly selected for me on 21 Feb. 2026.
It was not until I read the article that I noticed the unfamiliar word 'Polyworking'.
Polyworking is a growing global trend, particularly in the US.
However, as I mentioned during the lesson, most major Japanese companies still do not permit their employees to engage in it.
Meanwhile, small and medium-sized Japanese companies are less likely to monitor their employees strictly.
As a result, it seems some employees at these firms engage in polyworking.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to taking your next class.
