My name is Teacher Tobey. ^_^

I am what's called a Japanophile.
It means I love Japanese culture and its people! <3 <3 <3
At my university, I took up International Studies because I love learning about geography, world cultures, peoples and especially, their languages.
My TOEIC score is 955/990.
I have taught English for more than two
years now, from kids to adults and to the elderly. And I must say, the Japanese personality is very endearing to me. I'm so delighted to have met and befriended many Nihonjin because it has been my childhood dream to have many Japanese friends. This is why I'm also studying Nihonggo.
My dream in the future is to become a successful Anison and J-Pop singer and also a mangaka! In my free time, I rehearse a lot of English and Japanese songs. I also write and develop my own stories and characters so that in the future, I can get published in Shonen Jump Magazine! :-O
My style in teaching English is very cheerful, energetic and omoshiroii!
And if you have difficulty in speaking, that's alright, because I can speak a little Japanese. I can guide you to learning English the easy and fun way, so "Hazukashii garanaide ne?" ^_^

The word 'Objectification' was not familiar to me.
It means the act of representing an abstraction as a physical thing, if I interpret the word literally.
However, this word simplye means that treating people as objects.

I don't agree with the policy of the British case. Doctors should not mention global problems, such as global warming to patients.
Talking much about global problems can cause anxiety, depression and mental disorders.
If doctors in Japan do the same thing, some critics raise as significant matter such as lack of expertise of doctors, etc.

I have not heard the "Project 2025" until I watched "The 'evil genius' of Project 2025 and its attack on American freedom".
The election of the US president affects my job and my company's prodcuts. If Donald Trump wins the election, he would put America first policy.
For example, his policies may increase tariffs on Chinese products or place restrictions on products that use components made in China.
To solve the problems, we have to use an another factory in other region, but it requires high transportation fee and initial cost to set up the factory.

After watching the video "Why do Japanese men steal women's panties? | The Japan Report", I'm ashamed that some Japanese commit such a ridiculous crime, which is almost as common as car theft in Japan.
In addition, this video reminds me of the past panty theft that happend to my wife in the past.
The culprit must be her neighbor in the same apartment, because while my wife and I were relaxing in her room, her underwear was stolen in a short time.

Yesterday's assassination attempt against U.S. presidential candidate Trump was received with great surprise even in Japan.
Japanese people offered a variety of opinions on the incident. For example,
- Gun ownership should be restricted or banned in the U.S. as well as Japan.
- You should buy stocks of Japanese companies that deal in defense weapons and equipment, because Trump may request Japan to export them.
- This incident may work to Trump's advantage in the upcoming U.S. presidential election based on the past incidents.
Some ot them believe that the incident may have been staged by the Trump campaign, but I'm against the idea.

As I mentioned in the lesson, ordinary Japanese workers don't have specific Summer holidays, but most of Japanese tend to have paid holidays during the middle of August called Obon holidays.
Only students have Summer holidays. I believe that public praimary students in Tokyo pref. will have Summer holidays from 20 July, 2024 until the end of August.

As I said in the lesson, I got completely used to the fact that in typical Hollywood movies, the actors and actresses who play the leading roles were usually white men and women.
Nowadays, we also see black actors and actresses in Hollywood movies.
However, when I see Asian men and women in Hollywood movies, I feel a little uncomfortable.
I suppose this fact is one of the reasons that Asian men are not popular.

As you said, maybe 99% of Japanese people don't know the fact, but a few Japanese, including myself, have realized that Japanese men are not at all popular with Western women.
I can think of a few reasons for the fact, from general reason to biased reason.
Worse yet, I suspect that some Japanese women, known as misandrists, are deliberately spreading this fact online.

After watching the video, my impression is that the Amazon is a quite similar comnany to a typical BLACK company in Japan for the following reasons.
- Amazon does not allow authorize a labor union.
- Employees are foced to work long hours with low wages.
- Employees are restricged from taking a break, even to go to the restroom.
However, it' a true that Amazon gets tons of profits ever.

I suppose that the IT industry in Japan has a lot of "Black Companies' in Japan.
