Thank you so much, Fretche.
It was an enjoyable, tactful class, as always, from the material based on the article "Meta Replaces Fact Checkers with 'Community Notes'" that you kindly selected on 18 Jan. 2025.
I disagree with Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg's idea, because making light of fact-checking goes against the world trend.
However, I don't trust social media as a source of news, even if the fact-checking is done regularly.
So I have accounts on the major social media sites, but I rarely log on to them.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to taking your next class.

Thank you so much, Fretche.
It was an enjoyable, tactful class, as always, from the material based on the article "Tokyo Condo Prices Surge as Demand for Luxury Units Grows" that you kindly selected on 22 Nov. 2024.
As I said in the lesson, the average Condo in the Tokyo area was halved about 20 years ago. I should have bought the Condo then.
Nowadays, only a few people can buy a Condo, such as investors, doctors, CEOs and DINKS.
The DINKS means Double Income No Kids, it reflects the latest trend in Japan.
Meanwhile, I recommend to but second detouched house in suburban area in Tokyo, because it is not so expensive then Condo in center area in Tokyo.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to taking your next class.

Thank you so much, Fretche.
It was an enjoyable, tactful class, as always, from the material based on the article "NISSAN to Cut 9,000 Jobs Across Global Workforce" that you kindly selected on 16 Nov. 2024.
As I mentioned in the lesson, NISSAN has repeatedly faced financial difficulties many times in the past. So, many Japanese must say, "Not again".
I'm interested in the reason why they lapse into the crisis. So I looked for the answer on the internet.
Some experts insisted the main reason is that the executive and CEO are incompetent despite NISSAN's a high technology.
As is often the case with traditional Japanese companies, just because someone has an executive title does not mean they are competent.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to taking your next class.

It was an enjoyable, tactful class, as always, from the material based on the article "A Fake Japanese Products Gain" that you kindly selected on 31 Oct. 2024.
In the video, some products in Russia market that have Japanese words, but it sounds to be bizarre for native Japanese.
Nowadays, anyone can translate languages online into different languages each other.
However, it appears to be difficult to express product name with conveing concept of the product to consumers for each country even with the latest technology.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to taking your next class.

Thank you so much, Fretche.
It was an enjoyable, tactful class, as always, from the material based on the article "Tesla Announces Self-Driving 'Cybercab' for 2026" that you kindly selected on 26 Oct. 2024.
As I mentioned in the lesson, I'm engaed in vehicle industry, so I agree with the idea that an automobile will be ubiquitous in the near future.
My biggest concern about the Self-Driving vehicle is about a law and responsibility.
If the car causes an accident, who should be responsible for the incident? Vehicle manufacturers, parts suppliers, certification bodies, dealers?
I expect that they shift blame onto each other.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to taking your next class.

Thank you so much, Fretche.
It was an enjoyable, tactful class, as always, from the material based on the article "First Esports World Cup ends in Saudi Arabia" that you kindly selected on 1 September 2024.
As I mentioned in the lesson, a professional eSports athlete cannot make a living in Japan because receiving reward may be illegal under current Japanese law.
Receiving a reward for winning video games is considered illegal gambling.
However, there are also private technical schools that offer instruction and training to become professional e-sports players. The parents of the students should consider that their students may be being exploited.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to taking your next class.

Now I remembered! Cafe au lai base!
It is a concentrated coffee drink, basically a coffee base that is diluted about five times with milk or soy milk. You can enjoy a variety of flavors, delicious!

Thank you so much, Fretche.
It was an enjoyable, tactful class, as always, from the material based on the article "63,000 Bluey Coins Stolen in Sydney" that you kindly selected on August 17 2024.
As I mentioned in the lesson, Japanese people are likely to buy limited edition products.
I recommend that the Japanese government do the same, such as releasing special edition coins to improve the economic situation in Japan.
I bought a special edition of the Transportation IC card that was released for the 100th anniversary of Tokyo Station.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to taking your next class.

Thank you so much, Fretche.
It was an enjoyable, tactful class, as always, from the material based on the article "Why Volunteering Can Be So Good for Our Health" that you kindly selected on August 10 2024.
As I mentioned in the lesson, I agree with the idea that volunteering can be good for our health.
However I assume that people who can afford to volunteers tend to be wealthy, so they can live longer than average.
In general, most of large Japanese companies offer re-employment system, competent employees can work until the age of 65. However, only large companies does the extension of employment, the other employees are likely to work as part-time work, such as cashiers, guards, etc.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to taking your next class.

Thank you so much, Fretche.
It was an enjoyable, tactful class, as always, from the material based on the article "UK Approves Lab-Grown Meat in Pet Food" that you kindly selected on July 28 2024.
As I said in the lesson, the most important factors for lab-grown meat to prevail are initial price and quality.
The more popular the lab-grown meat becomes, the lower the price goes.
However, if the initial price is exorbitant, people are less likely to purchase it.
If the taste is not good, the people are less likely to be interested in it.
I really expect that lab-grown meat of high quality will be sold at a low price in the near future.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to taking your next class.
