I'm teacher Norren. I have been teaching online since 2006 and I'm so proud of it. I finished the degree of Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology major in Food Service Management. I studied Professional Education for a year and then took the Teacher's Board and became a Licensed Teacher. I have experienced teaching to first graders for 1 school year and then to high school students for another school year. It was a wonderful experience I had that even if I'm not a classroom teacher any longer, I still pursue my passion for teaching through online. For me, teaching is not just about sharing what you have learned from school to students but it is also about learning different life lessons from people you meet. Teaching should not be just a one way path but an open journey to those people who are open to learn and willing to share what they have learned. A good teacher should also be a good listener.
The more open we are to learning, the better we know who we are and what we can do.So, let's talk and let's have fun learning together.^^
Best Regards,
Teacher Norren

Planning an international trip but didn’t have time to brush up on the local language?
If you’re getting ready for a trip abroad and you want to connect with the locals, learning a bit of the language can be a great way to show your respect and sociability. Without a long-term grounding in that language, though, speaking to a foreigner in their mother tongue can be an intimidating proposition. Your prep time may be better spent learning a few regional hand gestures. The beauty of hand gestures is that you can say so much with one move: unlike a spoken language that requires multiple combinations of vocab, grammar and tone, you don’t have to be an expert to communicate with your hands.
Interested? Let's talk and discover the language that is not that hard to learn when your short of time - "Hand Gestures".
See you in my class!

BS in Industrial Technology in the Philippines
Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology (BSIT) is a four year degree program designed to equip students with the principles and procedures of shop training and technology repair works. It also trains students in the operation and maintenance of technical systems and equipment used in mechanical design and construction technology.
The BS in Industrial Technology program provides students with knowledge in the manufacturing process, mechanical and electronic systems, quality assurance and control, materials science, packaging, production and operations management, and manufacturing facility planning and design.
Is Industrial Technology a profession?
Industrial Technology by itself is not a profession. Each specialization, combined with a certificate and/or professional experience, makes one a professional in a specific field. There are many types of technicians and mechanics, each specializing in a specific field of expertise (Automotive, Electrical, Electronics, Refrigeration and Air-conditioning, Computer, Mechanical, Welding and Fabrication, etc). Each of these jobs is considered a profession, because it requires a specialized set of skills and sometimes a certificate.
How difficult is BS in Industrial Technology?
BS in Industrial Technology is not a difficult course, assuming you have interest in fixing and repairing things. The workload for this program is not as heavy compared to other courses. During your hands on exercises, you will be asked to repair machines, engines and other equipment; you will get dirty and smeared so you have to be able to accept this kind of work. Technical proficiency is very important; you must have the innate ability to work well with instruments and tools because if not, you will find it difficult to understand lessons taught in the program.
On the Job Training (OJT)
A student of the BSIT program is required to attend an on the job training (OJT) in a shop, industrial company or firm and in manufacturing industries. During the OJT, students are given the opportunity to apply their knowledge and practice their skills in actual settings. The OJT program is done under the supervision of a designated authority in the establishment/office which will evaluate the student periodically and submit the evaluation form to the assigned faculty member. The number of hours required for the OJT varies from one school to another.
Should you have some more questions regarding the course of study, I could be of best help.^_^
Thanks, always. I'm very satisfied with sharing our ideas about current situations under pandemic in our countries.

Thank you so much, Norren.
It was a pleasant, effective class as usual from the material based on the interesting article 'Russian-run eatery in Japan looking to hire Ukrainian evacuees' you kindly chose.
As I mentioned in the lesson, most of Japanese people have the idea that Russia is to blame for the war in Ukrine. However, I don't like any derogatory comments about Russians on social media.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to taking your next class.

Thank you so much, Norren.
It was a pleasant, effective class as usual from the material based on the interesting article 'Japanese health care team offers advice for displaced Ukrainian families' you kindly chose.
I forgot to mention in the lesson, I suppose that most of the refugees cannot afford to get on the internet, because they are concerned about their country.
Cyrillic alphabet that is used in Ukrainian language is not familir among Japanese, but I hope that this trial would bring more attention to Ukrainian language among Japanese people.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to taking your next class.

Thank you so much, Norren .
It was a pleasant, effective class as usual from the material based on the interesting article '7 in 10 Japanese support Russia sanctions even if they feel impact' you kindly chose.
As I mentioned in the lesson, many companies in Japan will be affected by the War in Ukraine. This incident will stagnate the Japanese economy growth, although 7 in 10 Japanese support Russia sanctions.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to taking your next class.

Thank you so much, Norren.
It was a pleasant, effective class as usual from the material based on the interesting article 'Pollen allergy symptoms can be confused with coronavirus' you kindly chose.
As I mentioned in the class, I've been having the Pollen allergy that derbies from cedar not cypress. There are lots of products that are made from the cedar or the cypress, for instance furniture, but we are not influenced by the products, because the pollen is harmful for us.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to taking your next class.
